This bright, certified organic Tuscan red hails from Castellina in Chianti and is made of mostly Sangiovese with a touch of Canaiolo, Merlot and Syrah. Grown on a poly-cultural farm that also produces artisanal honey and olive oils, this is deep and complex, with excellent acidic lift, lovely brandied cherry, wild strawberry and raspberry fruit, and gravely mineral undertones.
