This certified organic and certified biodynamic Cabernet Franc hails from the appellation of Bourgueil in France's Loire Valley and was made by Xavier Courant. Aged in concrete for 15 months, this is mineral, earthy and black-fruited with vivid notes of crushed graphite, fig cake, plum jam and cola, set against a dusty tannic frame. Juicy and plush on the palate, this is an excellent example of Cabernet Franc's rustic wild side.
