Arneis, a white grape variety indigenous to Piemonte in northern Italy, is one of the region's most under-appreciated hidden gems. This organically grown example from the Langhe region is clean, waxy and mineral, showing great density on the palate and delicate apricot, ginger and citrus peel notes. This was macerated on the skins to add textural breadth and complexity to the wine, and was raised in stainless steel.
