This stony, mineral-driven Malbec hails from the appellation of Cahors in southwest France and was farmed organically. What makes this bottling so unusual is that it was made by two renowned South American winemaking consultants: Pedro Parra of Chile and Antonio Moreschalchi of Argentina. Fermented with wild yeasts, unfined and unfiltered and aged in concrete for 12 months, this shows gorgeous tannic structure, fresh blackberry and blueberry fruit and earthy notes of crushed graphite.
