This grippy, savory bottling is made of 100% Aglianico and was grown biodynamically in the southern Italian appellation of Basilicata. Made from fruit grown at the base of Mount Vulture on volcanic soils, this is beautifully structured with firm tannins, earthy notes of smoke, tar and leather, and dense, vibrant layers of blackberry and black cherry fruit. This bottling was aged in neutral French barrique for 12 months.
